The observation will be done with the Arago telescope at Observatoire. It will be directed by F. Sèvre, from Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (up to his confirmation for Wednesday).
The Sun in Paris will set around 4 pm UT, or 5 pm local time. Planets are low or hard to observe, but Mars, Uranus and Neptune can still be seen. The Orion nebula and many colored double stars can be observed.
The entrance of Observatoire to be used is located at: 77 avenue Denfert-Rochereau, in the 14th arrondissement (between the Port-Royal and Denfert-Rochereau RER station, or at the "Saint Vincent de Paul" stop of bus 38).
Please be on time (since it will be difficult to enter late) and wait at the entrance until an organizer comes to show you the way.
BRING WARM CLOTHES, IN PARTICULAR FOR CHILDREN!
Groups of more than 18 persons are not allowed to enter the Arago dome, where the telescope is.
Please let the organizers know it you would like to change groups.
