CEREMADE autumn school 2020 is now CEREMADE winter school 2022.
Organization committee:
Lorenzo Croissant, Adéchola Kouande and Katharina Eichinger (Phd students at CEREMADE, Paris-Dauphine).
Description of the event, and scientific scope:
The CEREMADE young researchers school gathers all PhD students, post-docs and ATER from all CEREMADE teams. It takes up the mission of the schools organized by CEREMADE in 2015, 2016 and 2020.
-
The first objective of the school is to extend the mathematical culture of each member. To do so, introductory courses on CEREMADE's fields of applied mathematics (analysis, probability, economics and mathematical finance, statistics and imaging) will be organized by the experienced members. It should then promote knowledge exchange and collaboration, through presentations of work and open problems.
-
The second objective is to promote the effective integration of new members through the organization of workshops on the experiences of the PhD students, research skills, as well as through social events and through the common life of the winter school.
-
The third objective is to build on this foundation a close and dynamic team: exchange of skills and implementation of collaborative projects through fringe work sessions and a one-on-one mentoring program.
