Djalil CHAFAÏ (شافعي جليل), docteur de l'université de Toulouse (2002), mathématicien, principalement spécialisé en probabilités et statistique, analyse, et physique mathématique. Professeur des universités depuis 2009, à Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée puis à Paris-Dauphine - PSL. Depuis début septembre 2021 et jusqu'à fin août 2031, mis à disposition du département de mathématiques et applications de l'École normale supérieure - PSL.
Membre honoraire de l'Institut universitaire de France (IUF).
