Title : Coulomb systems
Abstract
We are interested in the statistical mechanics and dynamics of large systems of interacting Coulomb or Riesz particles. This is motivated by vortices, quantum and statistical mechanical models, approximation theory, and random matrix models. The mean-field behavior of these systems will be discussed, as well as their microscopic behavior as a function of temperature, which leads in particular to questions of crystallization.
