The main themes of the "Nonlinear Analysis" group are: optimization and calculus of variations, optimal transport theory, inverse problems, mean-field games, the study of various nonlinear partial differential equations, spectral theory, functional inequalities, dynamical systems, control theory, scientific computing and numerical analysis.
Applications mainly concern biology, ecology, social sciences, road traffic, fluid mechanics, celestial mechanics, quantum physics and chemistry, statistical physics and image analysis. The Inria team Mokaplan is part of the Nonlinear Analysis group.
