Statistical Physics and Mathematics
PSL's Statistical Physics and Mathematics "Grand Programme" gathers mathematicians and physicists from PSL university studying Statistical Physics in a broad sense.
Members of the grand programme are from three departments of PSL:
Statistical Physics is also present in other departments of PSL, at ESPCI and Collège de France. The programme focuses on the interface between Mathematics and Physics. It aims to create and organize a scientific community beyond historical departmental boundaries inside PSL, and to foster cross fertilizations among Mathematics and Physics.
The program has a funding of 2M€, lasts 5 years, has started on January 2025, and aims to hire approximately 6 postdoctoral positions of three years or doctoral students.
